Hi, I basically use one brush for all my paintings XD it's the photoshop default airbrush pen opacity flow, sometimes I play around with the brush settings but that one is the basic brush I always use, I used the same for the grass... If you want to learn about color harmony or simply how to make lovely greens you should see oga kazuo's works, and when I say see I actually mean stare at least 20 min each xD (also buying artbooks helps a lot)
